'European Market Abuse Regulation and Individual Protection'

This thesis identifies the requirements and concrete form of entitlements in case of a violation of the MAR. First, the author examines whether the regulation influences the interpretation of German civil tort law. Second, he focuses on the question whether and how European Union law obliges member states to grant civil tort law claims for the purpose of effective EU law enforcement. Third, he shows convergences and divergences between the German model and the European approach.
