Produktbeschreibung
The volume is dedicated to analysing the argumentation of the discourse on the war in Ukraine. It primarily focuses on the Ukrainian and Russian narratives as opposing poles; in addition, the book provides an overview of ideologically, nationally and geopolitically profiled discrepancies and similarities between the discourse positions in Poland, Germany, Great Britain, France and Spain. The focus is on the presentation of buzzwords that are used to convey certain topoi. The key question here is the definition of values or anti-values in European culture. The concluding chapter is conceived as a comparative analysis of buzzwords from an axiological perspective, providing readers with a preview of various profiles of individual discourses as well as transnational and nation-specific concepts.
