What Is Frame Problem

The term "frame problem" refers to an issue that arises when utilizing first-order logic (FOL) to convey facts about a robot's situation in the environment. This problem has ramifications for both artificial intelligence and cognitive science. In conventional FOL, representing the state of a robot requires the use of a large number of axioms, many of which merely entail that items in the surrounding environment do not change in an arbitrary manner.
