The present volume of the journal contains eight papers and six reviews. The contributions deal with ecological warfare and environmental warfare in antiquity [Stoll], more Greek job titles, especially from the Byzantine period [Diethart, Part VI], the price of olive oil in Milan at the end of the 4th century A.D. [Gnoli], the Neumagen wine ship as a warship or merchant vessel [Warnking], evidence for the economic labour of women in Pompeii's bars [Campbell], the recruitment of soldiers for the Seleucid army [Klär], powerful women in the provinces and cases of female euergetism from the Greek East [Fontana], and a recently discovered letter by T.
