This ecological flora compendium, a proven work for decades, is now available in the greatly revised eighth edition. In it, not only are all vascular plants of Germany and neighbouring regions classified, but there is also a focus on the ecological characteristics of the plant species. Details of the phytosociological classification are given for each species, as well as information on biology and site requirements (e.g., soil). Data on the seed reserve in the soil has been newly included.
