Produktbeschreibung

An increased understanding of art and art-based-methods is needed to address the behavioral and cultural change in the sustainability transition. This edited collection explores ways to engage people in their citizen, consumer, employer, employee and entrepreneurial roles, as they grapple with the sustainability transition. It introduces art and arts-based methods to advance sustainability thinking. As a unique contribution to sustainability research, this book presents insights from artists, art organizations and specialists using arts-based-methods in education, organizational innovation and citizen engagement. The book will provide inspiring insights to scholars and students of sustainability, innovation, corporate strategy, and creativity in business. Hanna Lehtimäki is a Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Eastern Finland Business School. Her research examines sustainable innovation and renewal with theoretical frameworks on strategic management, stakeholder theory, leadership and networks. Her current research focuses on transition to sustainable circular economy. Her articles have appeared in academic journals internationally and she has authored and co-authored books on strategic management and leadership. Steven S. Taylor is Professor of Leadership and Creativity at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Business School, USA. His research is focused in two areas, organizational aesthetics and reflective practice. The former applies art-based scholarship and practice to management and organizations. The latter focuses on the ability to analyse our own actions and learn how to be more effective, ethical, and artful as managers and leaders. Mariana Galvão Lyra is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated to the LUT Business School, Finland. She works as a project manager and does research on public acceptance of emerging technologies for energy transitions at the Greenrenew platform. Prior to LUT University, Mariana has been involved in initiatives and research projects on the interlinks of natural resources, environment, and society at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), from where she got her PhD on environmental policy.
