Nanosilicon

Silicon, a highly abundant, scalable, processable, cost effective, biocompatible and non-toxic material, is presently the basic material used in almost all microelectronic devices. Recent research has pointed to the potentially revolutionary utilization of nanostructured silicon in a much broader field.
