This book brings together a number of important older texts and three new, unpublished essays on the work and reception of the Baroque architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. The focus is on the Zagreb drawings for his book Entwurff einer Historischen Architectur (1721) as well as churches in Salzburg and the State Hall of the Court Library in Vienna.
