The objective was to analyse political-economic strategies for regional development in tropical forest ecosystems and its human impacts on the livelihood of the indigenous and immigrant population under specific climatic and ecological conditions.

Critical socio-economic analysis of a regionally and globally decisive period of human intervention in the biodiversity of tropical rain forests at the expense of important ecosystems without sufficient consideration of the needs of the regional population, based on own field studies.
