Using a range of interdisciplinary references, Bernd Käpplinger provides different configuration approaches from the perspective of adult education. These approaches are analysed by means of quantitative and qualitative data. The introduction into the current state of research is followed by the construction of an own approach, explanatory relations, as well as a detailed empirical discussion. The publication constitutes the conclusion of several years of research and serves as a basis for further scientific work in the field of company-internal further education.
