Philosophia - Poetik der Wahrnehmung

1500 Jahre liegen zwischen den Texten, die der antike Autor Boethius und der türkische Schriftsteller Ahmet Altan in Gefangenschaft geschrieben haben. Die extremen Bedingungen ihres Schreibens sind die Grundlage für Nils Röllers Vergleich: Wie formulieren sie Texte, wie thematisieren und gestalten sie Zeit? In Boethius‘ ›Trostschrift‹ stehen Gedichte als Gestaltung von Zeiterfahrung der Spekulation über Ewigkeit gegenüber. Altan beschreibt in seinen in Gefangenschaft entstandenen Texten seinen Kampf gegen die Zeit. Beide Autoren entwerfen dabei Figurationen der Philosophie. Boethius entwickelt ›Philosophia‹, die bis ins 16. Jh. die philosophische Lehre darstellt. In Altans ›Hayat heißt Leben‹ steht eine tanzende Frau für eine alternative Vorstellung von philosophischer Tätigkeit.

1500 years separate the texts written in captivity by the ancient author Boethius and the Turkish writer Ahmet Altan. The extreme conditions of their writing form the basis for Nils Röller's comparison: how do they formulate texts, how do they thematize and shape time? In Boethius' 'Trostschrift', poems are juxtaposed with speculation about eternity as a form of experiencing time. In his texts written in captivity, Altan describes his struggle against time. Both authors create figurations of philosophy. Boethius develops 'Philosophia', which represents philosophical doctrine until the 16th century. In Altan's 'Hayat means life', a dancing woman stands for an alternative idea of philosophical activity.
