150 Years Journal of Economics and Statistics

The contributions in this special issue put some spotlight on a few relevant issues in economics and statistics which have been on the agenda for a large part of the last 150 years in all industrialized countries e.g. public debt, price index problems, monetary theory and policy, economic integration, demographic trends. The contributions in this special issue also demonstrate that it might be worth to have a look back to our academic predecessors.
