Introduction to Public International Law

In a time when global challenges can only be effectively coped with international cooperation, the study of international law as a framework for such cooperation is essential. This book addresses some key questions of public international law. What are its sources? To what entities does it apply and finally, what does the law actually say? Regarding the last question, this introduction provides an overview of international human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, international economic law, and international environmental law.
