Kommunikationswissenschaftliche Gender Studies

Current societal and cultural processes of change affect, among other things, the relation between the public and participation and the increasing marginalisation occuring via precarisation and neoliberalisation. This results in societal divisions that are significantly influenced by media and communication processes. The theoretical reflections and empirical analyses collected in this volume provide perspectives from gender research rooted in communication studies, which combine to anchor critical positions in media and communication studies and provide knowledge for societal change.
