Carl Schmitt, Konrad Weiß, Josef Pieper and Friedrich Georg Jünger meet like-minded people« The quite complicated investigations on the »Siedlinghauser Circle« could be finished successfully because not only the existence of this circle could be proved but also documents could be presented, which gave an informative insight into current events. Not all the characters, who met in the »Sauerland« area on Dr. Franz Schranz's initiative, reacted in the same way on the challenges of the 30ies and 40ies of the last century. Temporarily some members of the circle showed intrest in an arrangement with the NS regime - most of these theological orientated efforts can be connected with the »Brückenbauer« phenomenon. With the help of various documents, such as letters, diary entries and their own publications, important motives could be found out.
