It discusses the many ways by which humans and human societies have sought to explain how they and the diverse living world came to be.

The ultimate goal of this book is to refute creationist strategies for their pseudo-scientific and -logical perspectives. It also intends to spur argument among creationist purveyors and provide armor for scientists seeking to argue with them.
