»Trade and business of the Kingdom of Westphalia under the système continental - Economic and customs reforms, business development and regulation of foreign trade relations 1807-1813« Economic policy, customs organization and foreign trade relations of the Napoleonic kingdom Westphalen, founded in 1807 against the background of the système continental and the continental trade war with Great Britain, are the focus of this study, which evaluates previously ignored archival sources in Germany and France. The work draws a detailed economic profile of the model state Westphalen between integration into the hegemonic economic order of Napoleon and its rejection.
