»The Proper Administration of Justice in the Interface with Third States: Lis Pendens, Reflexive Effect and Indirect Jurisdiction« This book provides a comprehensive legal analysis of the proper administration of justice as set forth in art. 33 and 34 of the Brussels I Recast. By means of legal comparison, the author contrasts these lis pendens provisions to the concept of forum non conveniens in English law and emphasizes that the proper administration of justice is to be interpreted by following the Brussels approach of a rigid jurisdictional regime. Based on these findings, the author also re-examines the concept of the reflexive effect.
