Jo March and the Plumfield boys return in the third novel in the Little Women series, following Little Men.

A decade after the events of Little Men, Jo's Boys returns to the Plumfield estate, where Jo and her husband, Prof. Friedrich Bhaer, still run their boys' school. With the March sisters' children embarking on their own grown-up adventures, Jo immerses herself in the lives of her students-both present and past.
