Reformulation of Binding Conditions in Terms of Search and Move

The book aims to deduce stipulative properties of binding conditions by reformulating them through a novel movement theory, under the tenet of the Minimalist Program. Integrating the insights of Abe’s (2014) pro-movement theory and Higginbotham’s (1983) linking theory, it offers a fresh perspective on bound variable anaphora, Binding Conditions A, B and C.
