Produktbeschreibung
The handbook gives an overview of classical and actual social theories, analysis, and debates in the field of organizational research and gender research.
The category „gender“ does not really matter in German speaking organizational research so far. It is this handbook‘s goal, to fill the gap and open the long overdue dialogue between organizational and gender research. It introduces relevant theoretical concepts of feminist organizational research as well as selected contemporary theoretical concepts (e.g. systems theory, structuration theory, new institutionalism) to evaluate processes of reproduction, erosion, and re-configuration of gender relations in organizations. Furthermore, an insight into the current debate of diversity management and intersectionality will be given.
