Evaluation of the Fast Elimination of Malaria by Source Eradication in the Union of Comoros

This evaluation report comprehensively elucidates the impact and outcomes of the first ever "Fast Elimination of Malaria by Source Eradication (FEMSE) project", a Chinese health development aid project in Comoros. The FEMSE project was launched in 2007 by the faculty of the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and over the past over seven years, it has covered the entire Comoros population of 900,000. It differs substantially from previous Chinese health development aid projects in that it employs medical teams, infrastructure construction, and small group training sessions.
