The Pinakothek der Moderne Munich

The impressive collection of art housed in the Pinakothek der Moderne covers a period that extends form the highlights of German Expressionism – Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Max Beckmann, for example – to significant works of contemporary art, such as the photographic works of Jeff Wall and Bruce Nauman´s video installations. All the familiar names of modern art are represented here – Picasso and Matisse, Dalí and Magritte, Polke and Baselitz, Warhol and Beuys.
