A Beginner's Handbook for Digital Finance

Digital finance is the term used to describe the usage of technologies in financial services. At present, digital financial transactions could reduce domestic demand for fiat currency, i.e., traditional currency. It is observed that the holding of physical currency by people is also slowly diminishing. In future, the use of physical currency for financial transactions is expected to cease across the globe. Investors are free to invest in digital assets like Bitcoin and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) which facilitate liquidity of investment. The assets accumulated by digital finance cannot be traced because of a distributed ledger system. Aspirant investors and other stakeholders should have a fundamental understanding of the dimensions of digital finance viz., finance technology, crypto-currency exchange, and regulatory mechanisms. In this context, this book is intended to acquaint the reader with a basic knowledge of digital finance, digital currency and crypto exchanges.
