German Law
By the late 1990s and early 2000s the need for reliable English-language material on German law had become increasingly evident. Therefore, the series ‘German Law Accessible’ was launched in 2001 with a book on German Securities Regulation. Since then the series has steadily grown and now covers a wide range of German law topics including business immigration, commercial contracts, corporate law and corporate criminal liability, employment and labour law, intellectual property, tax law and more.
As its name suggests, the series aims to make German law accessible to an international audience of lawyers and practitioners. At the same time, it serves German practitioners as a valuable resource for explaining German legal concepts and supports international students and translators who work with cross-border legal materials.
Besides the ‘German Law Accessible’ series – recognisable by its distinctive grey design – we also offer additional titles on German law, including the first English language commentary on the German Civil Code, a comprehensive tome on the German Insolvency Code, and a regularly updated work covering all relevant German banking law regulations.
All titles are written by experienced expert practitioners with a strong focus on practical applicability, sharing their knowledge and expertise to support your daily work.
