Blues for Two

This compilation containing 16 easy duets for saxophone or other instruments in the same key are based on the 12-bar blues, one of the cornerstones of modern popular music of northamerican origin. The duets feature grooves and riffs characteristic of different styles for the players to get familiar with the most essential basic vocabulary of jazz, swing, rock, funk, boogie and other genres.Duets No. 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 are compatible with the versions for Bb clarinet provided that they are played on the alto saxophone.
